We regret the “Spirits of Cadron” was cancelled due to rainy weather! The “Spirits of Cadron,” a popular fall event of past years, returns this year on Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24.

Sponsored by the Faulkner County Historical Society and the Faulkner County Museum, this entertaining, eerie, and sometimes spooky occasion takes place from 6 to 9 PM each night at the Cadron Blockhouse at Cadron Settlement Park. Cost is only $2 per person or $5 per carload.

“Tours through history” will be conducted by volunteer tour guides each portraying a historical character and dressed in period costumes. At each station on the tour, the guides will recite interesting stories of historical events.

Characters will be portrayed by various prominent persons, historical reenactors, area students, and other volunteers with knowledge and an interest in local history.

At the conclusion of each tour refreshments of cider and ginger snaps will be served.

Come out, enjoy the evening, and prepare to be entertained!
